Happy February 14th. Valentimes a random day for love 2 days before my birthday, so I get the extra lovin 2 times in one week...YIKES:D Today I woke up went in my kitchen and there was a rose in a vase for me. The vase we had the rose too, only they weren't put together, hha. We went to Tocanos on Saturday and they gave us the rose, so I laid it on our coffee table to dry out, and then Eli thought he'd be cute and put it in a vase for me "so it wouldn't die."
    Eli has school every Tuesday until about 7pm, today at work I had it all planned my mom put a roast in the slow cooker with some carrots and onions and this Catalina dressing (yeah mom helped me out a ton today!!)..yumm we LOVE this stuff! I was going to get off of work at 5 run home, make potatoes, decorate the house , light some candles ya know cutesie cutesie. ( Back story real quick we brought my car to the shop Monday night and some things  are being fixed, so I got a ride to work today and needed one home as well.) I'm at work and Eli calls me from school he says "Don't worry about finding a ride to work, I've arranged for one" I was pretty sure it was going to be my sister in law Sofi. I go on working and 5 o' clock rolls around, and I get a text from Sofi saying "i don't know if Eli told you but i'm giving you a ride home today, I'm running late" AHHHH crap I have plans I need to get stuff done at home, Also I'm going to be the only one left at work, and I get a little freaked, so I didn't want to be there forever. I'm thinking should I just leave with the girl now we can lock up and I'll start walking?? I was just worried so I call Sofi and asked if she thinks she'll be there by 5:30 she say's she isn't sure but will try. Right now the girl I work with stands up and says she's gonna leave. I call my mom and start freaking out to her about all of this, because I might not get home til 6. The girl that I work with was just standing there so I get off of the phone and turn around because I thought she had a question or something, then I see Eli holding a rose "Happy Valentimes!" I was soo happy! He got off out of class 2 hours early to surprise me. Smart? not so sure but sooo cute! We go to his car where there's more Valentimes candy and stuff. (yeah we know the word is Valentine btw)
    Now the only thing I'm worried about is how and when I'm suppose to decorate. We got home and I told Eli to play his game so I can clean a little , of course he jumped at that chance, I cleaned and in between went upstairs to work on some things and get stuff ready so I could bring it all downstairs in a hurry,  then when Eli started complaining about how hungry he is and that we should just go out to eat, I insisted that he go to the store to get us some desert and a love movie. I told him I'd think of something while he was gone to cook. I then decorated, I bought TONS of candles but turns out I don't know how to use a lighter or matches. ooops. I  got the food out of the oven and set it all up at our table, just after I was done, he came home and was so surprised. :D Yayya mission accomplished. I know he thought I wasn't going to get him anything because the other day we said no gifts or anything because we don't really have money. We broke that agreement, I bought a couple other things for him too.

   My Valentimes was amazing and I love saying Valentimes. Now that I've blogged and Eli's been up here playing drums for 20 minutes our tummys aren't so full and we can have desert and watch our love movie..'Crazy Stupid Love' to be exact, I wanted to see that movie forever ago, and was surprised he remembered. My awesome Friday Story

   Eli and I have had this Ghost tour planned for about a week and a half. We invited two of our friends to go with us for tonight. We purchased tickets and it sounded fun so I was excited. I've been excited for it then the closer it got today the more nervous I've been. Yesterday I was reading reviews on it and got spooked, I'm such a scaredy baby plus I have anxieties about things so not sure why I was up for it in the first place, especially because that kind of stuff freaks me out, I may or may not believe in it
   So I have had this uneasy feeling but thought it was just me psyching(?) myself out. I told one of my friends what we were doing tomorrow (today) Later on in the evening I gave her my email address for something. This morning I got to work and had a new email message. The email was from her saying that last night she just had this bad feeling about us going on the tour then the email went on about some things. I read the email and instantly knew we weren't suppose to go. I felt at ease. Now at this point I needed to tell our friends that were plannning on going with us, so I did. The response I got said some things and then this"I was feeling kind of iffy about it too" *sigh* I then called the company that we purchased tickets through, which I was nervous about because I didn't think we'd be able to get our money back in reading the policy. The guy I spoke to said "no big deal I can see these were just purchased at the beginning of the month: We got our money back, and we're not going which is awesome because I would have had some crazy dreams for the following weeks. The moral of the story and the part that I think is so cool is because the Spirit was saying don't go, but we couldn't back out I thought since it wasn't just us going,  and I thought it would be exciting.I kept being warned but wasn't going to listen. Finally my friend someone who is so intuitive and I respect so much randomly emailed me what she did. It's funny how it just worked out with her getting my email address last night. I feel like the Lord really felt like it was a bad idea for us to go, but I wasn't listening to the spirit and he knew I wouldn't listen unless it literally hit me in the face, and then I received that email. I feel so good right now and like the decision we made was right not to go.
     If we would have went it doesn't mean we would be in danger physically but spiritually maybe. This may not be a good thing to go to for me and my husband because of the possible effects it would have had on us (me) later on, it may be perfectly okay for somebody else. I'm so grateful for the experience I had this morning, it may not seem huge but it's definitely a testimony builder in ways.
    Tonight instead now I get to go to a jewlery party OOH LA LA and then go on a cute little date with my hubby then we'll just see where the night takes us. This would definitely be added to my positives list! 

The Good and Bad of the Day

Todays Friday and it's full of so many negatives and positives so far.. I think I'm gonna start with the negative so we can end on positive feelings..   My Negative List..

1.I'm at work
2. My boss is avoiding phone calls (im on break so i'm allowed to be doing this right now just because I know a lot of you were thinking..well hey you're avoiding them too)
3. I am breaking OUT, I have this crazy under the skin starting to show big pimple on my chin and it itches like crazy, I've been scratching it with a pen lid all morning.
4. I put purple in my hair last night and now my hands are crazy purple
5. I'm craving a sandwhich from Village Baker but it's so far so i'm settling for these Ramen noodles.
       Okay so the negative list isn't that bad

1. I'm alive!
2. "It's Friday Friday got to get down on Friday, everybody's looking forward to the weekend weekend"
3. Eli woke me up abruptly this morning by giving me a real hard kiss on the cheek and yelling "im late" I heard the door lock and 20 seconds later he walked back in saying "i don't work for another hour" haha so that's positive because he wasn't late and positive because it's oh so funny!
4. I put some purple in my hair last night, it's not a ton, but enough for me to notice and I like it. ( i may be satisfied with more though sometime soon.

    First off I'd like to blogicly (publicly) apologize-- Brandon and Christy do not I repeat Do NOT watch movies about baldy teenage boys on Hulu, it was our other friend ..well we're pretty sure it was him and he lied to us about watching Harold..it's not a big deal ya know just don't wanna give credit where it doesn't belong *tee hee* Second, Eli and I went to the movies on Monday, it was AWFUL! So back storey--in high school Eli and I went to movies all of the time and it was just a big waste of money (not to say we don't waste money still just not on things like $9.00 movies) So after we got married we decided to wait unitl movies hit the dollar theatre , except for special occasions. Monday was family night and Chronicle just hit theatres this past weekend, Duck boy was so excited to see it, so I said "okay let's go" I knew how bad he wanted to see it and he's such a cutie patootie, Oh by the way Duck Boy is my hubby. We went and saw Chronicle, the second it started my head went "awww crap" If anyone has seen Cloverfield, the filming is like that basically one kid is holding the camera the entire time, it's jumpy and you don't see the main boy a lot you just hear him, he's so whiny and pesamistic and his voice sounds like it's coming from the camera if that makes sense. The movie in my opinion was just dumb and I didn't really enjoy it until the credits started rolling. I saw 3 people leave and they didn't come back, I'm telling you. It got good ratings but I don't know how. If the filming was different I would have enjoyed it more but I just though it was boring until the last 10 minutes probably. Whoever is reading this might go see it and think this post is absurd, but really it's worth waiting for the dollar theatre.

Superbowl Sunday

So I gained approximately 25 pounds today. I really ate more today then I think I did Halloween through New Years Eve. It's Superbowl Sunday and I am stuffed. I underestimated the Giants too, i mean the Patriots have been to the Superbowl a few times, but I guess they couldn't pull it off. We went to the in laws for some snacks and the football. I personally watch for the commercials, and by the way i was SORELY disappointed this year. I remember 2 commercials I liked, the yogurt one with Uncle Jesse from Full House and the Acura NSX one. During the middle of the Superbowl we left and went to my cousins for their party where i ate MORE plus it was a birthday so there was velvet cake and ice cream on top of pizza, and chips cheetos soda all you could eat (well until it was gone) Then after that back to the in laws where somehow we caught the end of the game because Eli's brother arrived like half hour into the show and rewound the whole thing. After the Giants win it was time for 'The Voice' Eli and I were into that show last year so we watched it this year so annoying it was probably an hour and 20 minutes and we got to see like 5 performances plus 3 side performances. Now we're at home where I came upon this picture Jayden drew at church of our family...ALSO side note my big brother got engaged yesterday EEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy Love it SOOOO HAPPY! Now I'm home and am going to unwind from this seriously stressful day of vegging out and well veg. (not sure if that's the correct spelling or if anyone reading is saying it right in their head.) Not sure what I'm gonna watch but I'll tell you it's not going to be Napoleon Dynamite, that's not gonna be on Hulu until tomorrow:( I can wait though.

Today I came home from the work and gym and Eli say's to me "why the freak are you watching tv shows about balding kids?" I'm like what the heck NOT ME! Now we're almost 90% positive it was my brother or his wife..so to that I say "How was Harold?" hahaha.

                           I'm a very happy camper right now. Let me tell you why.
A: Went to the Gym today for the second time after taking like all of last week off.
B: My dog is the cutest little black rat ever.
C: I have an amazing family, and I know everybody says and thinks that about their family, but really I just think that all the time.
D: Eli's furthering his education to better our future so I can have a healthy spending habit!...?
E: I got some new eyeliner and even though by the end of the night I look like a trashy racoon, at the beginning of the day I look fierce.
F: Knowing that I can go downstairs and watch the new episode of One Tree Hill.
G: got Cafe Rio for din din and me and my boo bear haven't gone out to eat in a while..so we deserved it. Yes Elly Duckworth is my boo bear!
H: Came home and had an amazing night with my family, we just talked and laughed so much.
I: I turned the computer on and the first thing I saw is my adorable niece , she hates me but I still love her just so much.
J: I found out I have one follower and it's my amazing dad.
K: Spencers going to be a married lady soon! woooooo!
L: Travis keeps doing that thing Kip does "oooh breath pallets"
M: I'm wearing a red comfy robe.
N: My wash is not all the way caught up but closer then it was yesterday.
O: My Almonette cookies that are downstairs waiting for me.. they are nothing brand like really, from the Dollar Store. mmmM soo good!
P: I have a warm place to live and nice warm blankets, sometimes the people we rent from forget to turn the heat on.. YA HEARD?!
Q: I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS! And tomorrow get to go to the temple with my hunny.
R: Eli is a Hottie Boom Lottie.
S: Spencer is helping me look for a better income, we were just talking about jobs right now.
T: I'm graduated from high school
U: Knowing that Eli is downstairs waiting for me to come cuddle, even though he's probably snoring his brains out right now.
V: Dallin admitted that he wants to go to BYU due to the high volume of pretty ladies.
W: I laughed a lot today
X: We are looking for houses/apts and that's always fun

Z: Earlier I was laying down and Titan jumped up and accidentally scrantched my face, I said "Eli do you think Titans claws are full of venom" (because sometimes cats are, i thought) his response..."Venom??? No Amber i do not think our dog is poisonous."
